The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One is preparing design plans for the future widening of approximately 6.3 miles of State Road (SR) 542 from 1st Street in Winter Haven to east of US 27 in Dundee in Polk County, Florida. There are two projects being designed at the same time as described below and shown on the location map.
